Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Video Editor & Content Creator to bring our brand and projects to life through captivating videos and social media content. You will handle everything from shooting on-site videos to editing and optimizing them for maximum engagement across platforms.
If you love storytelling through visual media, are up to date with social media trends, and have a flair for turning raw footage into compelling content, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Video Production: Capture high-quality videos, reels, and multimedia content directly at project sites.
- Video Editing: Transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos that reflect SKAA’s brand identity and marketing goals.
- Content Optimization: Tailor videos for social media platforms, incorporating trending formats, captions, and timings for maximum engagement.
- Post-Production Enhancements: Add graphics, animations, transitions, sound effects, and captions to enhance the overall impact of your videos.
- Uploading & Distribution: Manage the upload, tagging, scheduling, and optimization of videos across multiple social media channels.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure videos align with project objectives and brand messaging.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video production and social media content creation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or Content Creator with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of video production techniques, lighting, audio, and camera operation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and best practices for video content.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
